The platform can accommodate 5MW parallel system configurations and supports validation of various complex switching and redundancy scenarios, helping customers identify system performance and risks before deployment in environments that closely mirror real-world operations.
Large-Equipment “Proving Ground” – More Efficient, More Realistic
The testing center is built to strictly match real data center deployment conditions, enabling “direct access” testing of large equipment: containers and power modules enter the facility at full scale, heavy lifting capabilities are always available, and dedicated vehicle lanes allow equipment to be delivered directly to the test area. Customers can plug in and test without additional site modifications, significantly shortening validation cycles.
Full Power Chain Integration – One Deployment, System-Level Validation
Unlike traditional testing models that focus on single performance indicators, the Vertiv Mianyang Megawatt-Level Testing Center establishes full power chain system-level validation capabilities, covering the complete link from distribution cabinets, UPS, batteries/energy storage, and parallel systems to multi-mode switching. Testing can cover standard performance and typical operating conditions, or be customized from baseline to extreme scenarios based on customer requirements, systematically validating reliability and resilience across different application scenarios. This enables one deployment and coordinated validation of multiple metrics.

The Mianyang testing center works in coordination with the main plant to form a system-level validation architecture comprising four main test stations. The new platform supports up to 4MW at a single station, and up to 5MW with dual-station联动, achieving parallel validation and doubling efficiency. The platform allows multiple projects to be tested simultaneously, significantly reducing scheduling wait times; under parallel conditions, it can complete continuity, stability, and multi-scenario validation; and it can dynamically allocate testing resources based on project priorities and validation requirements. Meanwhile, enhanced automated data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities integrate the entire process from scheduling to validation to delivery, making project schedules more stable and progress faster.
4800m² Immersive FAT Experience – Visible, Verifiable, Trustworthy
The Mianyang testing center covers a total area of 4800m², with the main plant test platform occupying approximately 680m². Within this larger-scale system-level test space, the center provides a professional factory acceptance test environment for high-power and complex system validation: glass partitions allow direct viewing of the test area, large screens display key test data in real time, and the entire process from “plan confirmation → execution → explanation → report delivery” is transparent and traceable. Both remote online and on-site participation are supported, ensuring that every result stems from a visible, traceable, and verifiable process.

Vertiv’s testing platform has proactively introduced AI Load simulation capabilities, flexibly replicating various AI load envelope curves that cover real application scenarios while also supporting customer-defined load profiles.
